HIGHLAND PARK THORFINN
Huge whisky, strange that is a NAS, maybe the best NAS in the world?! I think some young maturing use to mixed with the older ones for the perfect harmony. Ragnvald is outstanding in the Warrior Series, but this one is ... excellent for me.
NOSE
Deep and elegant. Vanilla, honey and milk caramel. Fruit cake, especially orange, apricot and waxy apple. Matured spicy oak. Touch of creamy peat and salted minerals.
TASTE
Powerful. A bit bitter matured oak. Piquant spices, mainly nutmeg, white pepper and saffron.
Dried fruits. Dutch cocoa, milk coffee and orange peel. Cigar ash and smoked ham. Sumptuous.
FINISH
Long, spicy, dry, creamy.
