Just tried a dram of this Kavalan Sherry Oak. Great on the nose. Big sherry hit on the palate and a super long finish. If you’re into sherried whiskies give this a shot. Kinda like a watered down blend of Solist casks and it is more easy going as an every day sipper then the Solist sherry cask. Nose: Familiar rich dark fruit, marzipan and spice notes. Palate: Mixed dark spices, vanilla and plum. Finish: Dried fruit and cocoa.
