Bunnahabhain 1988 - Luxury Damson Jam Wemyss Malts Luxury Damson Jam was distilled in 1988 by Islay’s Bunnahabhain and bottled by independent bottler Wemyss Malts. This single-cask whisky offers rich aromas of dark chocolate and cigars, alongside sweet maraschino cherries and stewed damsons. The palate is rich and sweet, like a damson jam with a hint of ginger, developing a dry, woody element and hints of allspice, cloves and oranges. The finish is long and lingering, bitter notes of liquorice root mingling with a salty, maritime edge.
